Citizen Film - Joann Sfar Draws from Memory (preview)
Karsten Brink - Eva Extravaganza (Foxy Fighters)
Back in 2004, I had an idea for an serial webcomic about two female private investigators (the Foxy Fighters) who rescue a military cyborg from the evil hands of The Corporation (yes, that was its name). I never got beyond drawing the intro sequence, but the characters still linger in the idea basement of my mind.
I’m taking part again in Script Frenzy, the NaNoWriMo equivalent for script writers (in my case, comic book script writer). Hyperthéque Comics Season 2 is coming! Check here for more infos.
If you’re making webcomics or thinking about making one, you need to read this. It’s important.
National Graphic Novel Month is coming soon, and in preparation, I try to develop a set of rules to survive a November of drawing a single long(ish) comic. So far, the rules of Comic Club are:
1. The length is 50 A4 pages.
2. Each page has to be worth a thousand words. (Equivalent to NaNoWriMo’s 50k limit).
3. When a page is finished, it will be turned over and not looked at until November, 30th.
Watch Mike Krahulik (aka Gabe) draw a Penny Arcade strip, in real time.
